Get ready to discover new roads in the 2024 Kia Sorento, a practical and versatile SUV with seating for up to 7. It has lots of standard features that make road trips safer and more enjoyable, plus Kia’s industry-leading warranty for peace of mind. And the Sorento offers a choice of 8 trim levels, including the adventure-ready X-Line and X-Pro models.
The Sorento’s comfortable cabin treats passengers to a quiet ride throughout its three rows of seating. Third-row passengers can get in and out easily thanks to one-touch sliding and folding second-row seats, which are available as a bench seat or captain’s chairs. Both rows of rear seats can be folded to increase the cargo volume from 12.6 cu. ft to 75.5 cu. ft, and a dual-level cargo floor provides additional hidden storage.
LX and S trims are powered by a 191-horsepower 2.5-liter engine that achieves up to an EPA-estimated 31 MPG highway. Other models get a turbocharged 2.5-liter engine that puts out 281 horsepower and 311 lb.-ft. of torque. All-wheel drive is available for improved traction on off-road adventures and in inclement weather. And the Sorento’s powertrain is protected by a limited warranty for 10 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
What’s New This Year
For 2024, the Sorento’s exterior is redesigned, and its infotainment system gets an update. There’s also a new X-Pro SX Prestige AWD trim level that has off-road enhancements like all-terrain tires, high-utility roof rails, and an increased towing capacity of 4,500 lbs. The X-Pro has distinctive X-Line body styling and 17-inch gloss black alloy wheels, plus a panoramic sunroof and Bose Premium Audio System.
Safer with Drive Wise
Drive Wise technologies are Kia’s advanced safety and driver assistance features that can detect and warn you about potential dangers. The Sorento comes standard with 11 of these features, including Blind Spot Collision Warning, which alerts you when there’s a vehicle in or approaching your blind spot. This feature doesn’t just work on multi-lane roads: it also looks out for you when you’re exiting a parallel parking space.
Keeping You Connected
The Sorento has a long list of standard and available technology features that help you stay connected to your vehicle and the world. Its 12.3-inch touchscreen display can show your compatible smartphone’s maps, messages, and apps when you connect it using standard wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. And with a 1-year complimentary subscription to Kia Connect, you can use your phone to remotely start your Sorento’s engine, locate your vehicle, and more.
